Spatial Metaverse
Spatial is a well-established closed metaverse platform that has been around for some time now. It offers standard functions like voice communication and screen sharing, which are essential for community meet-ups. The platform seems to target the corporate world and provide easy-to-use tools to facilitate these meetings. It has a relatively high capacity to accommodate a large number of people in a virtual world. I believe Spatial is filling a unique niche as the next-generation of Zoom calls in the metaverse, with its user-friendly avatars, content upload support, hosting and moderation tools, and basic office applications. Mobile app and VR headset support are available, and the platform also supports NFTs. Overall, I think Spatial is here to stay, offering user-friendly experiences rather than customizable ones, focusing more on end-users than on developers.
